Reach to Recovery: Women currently facing breast cancer are paired with breast cancer survivors for moral support, literature and resources. Efforts are made to pair women with similar treatment courses and with similar life situations.

Parent-educators make home visits to share age-appropriate child development and parenting information; also provides parent group meetings.

In home nursing services. A registered nurse completes an initial assessment and sets up a medication regiment. The nurse makes additional follow-up visits to check on client's progress.

Each County Outreach office offers life skills classes covering budgeting and energy conservation.

La Luz Center for Immigration Legal Assistance is a nonprofit immigration program that addresses deficient local community capacity in the provision of low cost legal representation to refugee and immigrant populations in the state of Kansas. They can offer assistance with filing forms, representation before the immigration court and much more.

Tap water testing provided.

Offers travel required immunizations for individuals traveling abroad.

Provides counseling services to children and adolescents to help resolve any personal or interpersonal difficulties they are experiencing.

Provides case management to assist individuals and families in attaining self sufficiency.

Assists with applying for MO HealthNet (Medicaid) Program. The program provides medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Public library offering loans of books, cd's/dvd's, children storytelling and other services.

Early Head Start includes childhood education for children, including those with disabilities, child nutrition services, heath and developmental screening and follow-up, parent education and family support services. Child care is available for parents who are working, in school or in training and need child care.

Community Integration: Provides opportunities during the day to increase independence and participate in the community by providing training in work, social/recreational and living skills.

Emergency dental status only i.e., pain, swelling and infections

Provides chronic disease self management services by identifying and managing chronic conditions.

Neighborhood Centers work with families and individuals to help them achieve self-sufficiency and stability. Services include emergency assistance, Life Skills workshops, one-on-one Family Support and Targeted Coaching and referrals to other community programs. Governmental and community funds are used to provide food, rent, or mortgage assistance and utility bill assistance. Funding is limited, call the Center for additional details.
