Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.

Burns Recovered offers two different scholarships: 1) Jim Neff Passionship - To provide scholarships for Midwest Children’s Burn Camp participants who have a specific hobby or passion that they enjoy participating in and would like to take a class to continue that interest. Examples of this may include cooking or dance classes, a creative writing course, a basketball camp, guitar lessons, or anything the camper would like to pursue that makes them happy. This scholarship is named after Jim Neff, long-time counselor and dedicated volunteer of Midwest Children’s Burn Camp. 2) College/Trade Scholarship - available to help burn survivors to pursue education after high school or need to be retrained as a result of their burn injuries. Funding is given directly to school/training for tuition and or school supplies.

The National Response Center (NRC) is the point of contact for reporting all hazardous substances releases and oil spills.

Provides cooling center during extreme heat conditions.

New Vision Program: offers inpatient alcohol detox services.

Housing Programs include Home Ownership, Down Payment Assistance, Homeless Prevention and Transitional Housing for those who are income eligible.

Free library to anyone in the State of Missouri who is unable to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability.

TeleHope: Provides supportive weekly phone calls to older adults age 55 years and older focused on screening for mental health concerns, connect to resources, goal setting and decreasing isolation.

Offers a wide range of climate and topography and the availability of irrigation water in the state result in a considerable variability in crops produced.

Independent Living Skills Training: Individualized training topics include but are not limited to, budgeting and personal finance, cooking, lease and tenant/landlord responsibilities, recreation, computer/internet, reading, training on management of attendant services, pre-employment skills, interpersonal skills, social skills, utilization of other services available and goal setting to achieve increased independence.

Primary care for every family member, services include treatment for diabetes and management of diabetes.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

The Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) is an independent organization within the IRS. They help taxpayers whose problem with the IRS are causing financial difficulties; who have tried but have not been able to resolve their problems with the IRS; and those who believe an IRS system or procedure is not working as it should.

Thrift store stocked with clothing from donations from area churches and the community. Small cost per item. Monies are used to fund the centers other programs. Program also assists burn-out victims, the poor and any person in need of clothing at no cost.

Residential Treatment Program: Offers individual, group and family therapy, psychiatric services, medical services and 24 hour supervision based on each child's needs.

The food pantry is open to anyone in the Belleville or Swansea area. Call 618-233-3813 if there are questions or if emergency assistance is needed.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.
