The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Several volunteer opportunities are available either as a Buddy, Officer or Advisor. Buddy Programs: Volunteers are paired with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to create and maintain friendships. Volunteers are matched with a peer with similar interests. Friendship pairs talk at least once a week and meet in person twice a month. Officer: Volunteers with or without an intellectual or developmental disability works with a team to plan events and support friendships in their area. Advisor: Volunteer teachers or school faculty who support student leadership programs in managing chapters on campus or in a workplace.
