MoRx was created by the 93rd General Assembly to coordinate benefits with Medicare's (Part D) Prescription Drug Program, and to provide additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need. MoRx pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. It pays for 50% of the deductible, 50% of the co-pays before the coverage gap, 50% of the coverage gap, and 50% of co-pays in the catastrophic coverage. MoRx does not pay for the Medicare Part D Plan's monthly premium. MoRx uses the formulary of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Any drug covered by a member's Medicare Drug Plan will also be covered by the MoRx plan. MoRx works with all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Dual eligible members will continue to have coverage for Medicare-excluded drugs through MO HealthNet. Medicare-excluded drugs include specific over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, limited cough and cold drugs, benzodiazepines and barbiturates as they are currently covered by MO HealthNet, as noted on the MO HealthNet Division Pharmacy pages. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays. Other individuals may submit an application for extra help to the SSA.

50+ Program arranges day trips, overnight trips and extended tours for older adults.

Seton Center provides assistance with gas bills.

Provides General Education Development (GED) for those interested in earning high school credentials.

Clinical services for men, women and teens including sexually transmitted disease treatment.

Provides perishable and non-perishable food boxes to community residents who are in need. In addition, the Pantry may also supply clothing, household items and personal hygiene items.

Serves as an adoption information and referral live for individuals and families.

Provides shelf stable food items, and can goods to those in need.

The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Provides counseling to individuals who have experienced trauma and/or abuse.

Control the occurrence of meningococcal disease/meningitis by monitoring the incidence of the disease in the general population, investigating individual outbreaks and identifying and screening recent contacts of people who are infected to stop the spread of the disease. Follow-up is provided for all reported or suspected cases.

The Housing Authority provides assistance to low-income residents for affordable housing, weatherization and home repair.

• Youth K-5th: Provides after school programming, includes academic tutoring, science, cooking and food science, dramatic and imaginative play experiences, physical fitness, arts and crafts and gardening.

• Midtown Juniors: Provides after school programming focuses on issues facing middle school youth, includes team building, identity exploration, community building and academic tutoring.

• Teen Club: Provides after school programming designed for high school students, focuses on leadership, tutoring, college prep, ACT/SAT prep, resume writing, college visits, job hunting, future planning and teen talks.

Provides a wide range of informational and educational programs in consumerism, agriculture, human development, business, youth, etc.

Assistance in preparing Circuit Breaker (partial rebate on rent paid during the year) forms.

A juvenile court

Maintain supplies of blank tax forms and archives of past versions of tax forms for reference purposes.

Provide health information and referrals to local health centers that provide bilingual services.

A neighborhood community garden where community and plenty of fresh, healthy food flourish.

Responsible for coordinating governmental offices during natural and man-made disasters. Also, operates an emergency communication center to alert public of hazards.

Clothing closet with all sizes

Program educating parents about guardianship options for children/adults with disabilities, autism or spectrum disorders, behavioral problems, exceptional and/or have health care needs like diabetes, asthma. They do not file papers.

Home Rehabilitation Program: Provides home grants for home repairs, rehabilitation, appraisals, lead inspections and flood letters to homeowners.

Accepts donations of baby formula.
