GSGBC's Program takes place at our Soulard campus, as well as afterschool at St. Frances Cabrini Academy and St. Cecilia School. Programs are offered in six competency areas: Academic Support & Assistance; Athletics, Aquatics, & Recreation; Character Building; Healthy Living; Visual & Performing Arts; and College & Career Readiness, all in a trauma-informed framework. This provides youth with tools to acquire skills and strengthen academic performance, while developing relationships and building confidence with a network of motivated peers.

Creating wealth for communities by assisting business start-ups and helping businesses remain competitive and prosperous.

Breastfeeding Peer Counselors available to provide support and information

Assists individuals with applying/enrolling in Medicare.

Congregate meal and home-delivery of hot meals at 12:00pm (Noon) Monday-Friday; microwaveable frozen meals are also available for evenings and weekends.

Pathways provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to pre-adolescent children through older adult populations. Also provides mental health diagnostic screenings.

Services are offered for children and parents involved in the adoption process. These include the evaluation of the child's needs prior to placement, and arrangements for care of the child prior to the child's adoptive placement and to the approval of the adoptive family. Also, special activities are provided to help adoptive parents and children adjust to the new family situation.

Pickup service available for donated items.

Government housing program that make rental housing more readily available to homeless people and/or low-income individuals and families.

Blood pressure screening.

Providing breakfast and lunch for children and youth.

Provides nutrition education and food vouchers for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children younger than 5 years old.,

Provides sex education programs.

Provides Adult Basic Education classes

Provide listings of support and networking groups including Teen Support Group.

Provides food boxes to seniors age 60 years and older.

Assists individuals with disabilities in searching and applying for jobs that meet their skill-set and preferences.

Offers broad range of information: topics include nutrition, business, personal budgeting, gardening, babysitting, 4-H youth, etc. Speakers available. If they don't have a specialist in their area, they work with other extension offices to find the program.

A donation pick-up service may be available.

Redemptorist offers a medical assistance program for the residents of Jackson and Wyandotte County which includes financial assistance for dental care. The amount of assistance available varies on a case by case basis as grant funding allows.

Provides education services to children in Kindergarten through 5th grades who reside within the Brentwood School District.

Visits to pregnant women and newborn infants are made by the Health Department nurses. Additional visits can also be ordered by a physician.

Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.
