We also educate individuals regarding hereditary cancer risks—especially women and men of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, who have an increased risk of carrying a hereditary cancer gene mutation.

After-school care for K-5th graders.offer after school camp for those attending summer school during the month of June which will go from right after school until 5:30 p.m. The child must be entering kindergarten and 5th grade is the highest grade. Grant funded alternative for Meals on Wheels for individuals who are out side the Meals on Wheels service area. This program provides meal delivery to older adults by UPS. Individuals who qualify are delivered 10 frozen meals per week (46/month) to clients that senior centers aren't able to provide delivery to. A phone contact to client will be made weekly by the Southeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging central office staff.

Provides parent education groups to help families navigate the challenges of parenting with support from peers. Childcare and transportation assistance are available to participants.

Adoption Preservation: Provides adoptive families with crisis intervention, family counseling, case management and an adoptive parent/child support groups to help strengthen families.
