Providing family medicine services, include treatment for colds, flus, infections, high blood pressure, diabetes, wellness visits (immunizations, shots, cancer testing), work, school and sports physicals, DOT and other physicals, women's health (Pap smears, mammograms, STD testing/treatment), pregnancy care and family planning services, minor procedures, weight management, management of diabetes and high blood pressure, child health (pediatrics and adolescent care), AIDS/HIV case management, counseling and testing services.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this sight.

Offers broad range of information: topics include nutrition, business, personal budgeting, gardening, babysitting, 4-H youth, etc. Speakers available. If they don't have a specialist in their area, they work with other extension offices to find the program.

Provides temporary financial assistance to meet emergency needs.

Provides summer and winter utility bill assistance and rental assistance; funding is limited; call for details.

Immunizations are given for the following diseases: Diphtheria, Pertussis/Tetanus, Td, Polio, Measles, Mumps/Rubella, HIB, Hep B, Varicella, Prevnar, Hep A, Influenza, and Meningococcal.

This office provides information and applications for food assistance.

Turning Point is a drop-in center that provides a host of services to individuals without secure shelter. Services range from bathing and laundry facilities to assistance with applications for employment, housing, education, and financial aid. Referrals are also made to other agencies in Columbia that assist with clothing, housing, mental health and other services.

Teaches culinary and soft work skills followed by job placement and coaching services. The 15-week training curriculum, which accommodates 4-6 students per session, is followed by job placement services which enable graduates to become employed by St. Louis area hospitality industry businesses.

Synergy Services offers counseling for survivors of child abuse.

The Day Center provides a space for unhoused individuals from Leavenworth County to safely gather during the day to access equipment and facilities for basic needs including breakfast and lunch.
