The kNOw Lead KCK program assists residents with lead-based paint stabilization. Certified lead inspectors identify lead hazards and make recommendations. Qualified lead paint abatement contractors perform the remediation, which may include: replacement of windows, doors and trim; removing deteriorated lead paint and repainting; and/or replacing contaminated soil.
