Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.

Legal Aid’s Human Rights Protection unit provides free civil legal counsel and representation for low-income people. The unit helps those experiencing legal issues with the immigration process, as well as Migrant Farmworkers in Missouri who are experiencing civil legal issues that are negatively impacting their lives. The unit also assist victims of human trafficking who need civil legal assistance.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this sight.

Provides immunizations for children.

Reach to Recovery: Women currently facing breast cancer are paired with breast cancer survivors for moral support, literature and resources. Efforts are made to pair women with similar treatment courses and with similar life situations.

Provides a cooling site during extreme heat

Brain Injury (BI) Habilitation: Services provided to individuals with brain injuries to assist with acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization and adaptive skills. These services are provided in a setting separate from the individuals' home.

Donald Danforth Jr. Wilderness Camp: Supervised residential camp provides recreational and social activities for individuals with a brain injury.

Residential Scholarship Program: Long-term care for academically capable boys and girls with family, neighborhood or environmental obstacles. Boys and girls live in residential homes and are provided with college-preparatory education through high school. This is a voluntary placement and parent or guardian retains legal custody.

Providing a drop-off location for over-the-counter and prescription drugs and opioids.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for electric bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Trained parent mentors available for parents of adults or children with disabilities, special health care needs, mental heath issues or physical disabilities. Populations served include persons with disabilities, autism, other spectrum disorders, arthritis, asthma, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, cystic fibrosis and other physical, mental, emotional and neurological illnesses.

Provides pediatric services including infants, children and teens. Services include but not limited to dental preventive care, well-child exams, sports physicals, immunizations, injuries and illness, and more.

The HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccine is provided free of charge to girls and women ages 9-26 not covered by adequate insurance or who do not qualify for Missouri's free Vaccines For Children (VFC) program.
