This fire department is a safe haven for persons wishing to legally surrender physical custody of their infant. Person stating that they are the parent may leave an infant (without fear of prosecution) in the hands of staff. A parent will not be prosecuted for leaving their newborn at a safe haven if they follow the laws, assuming the child is under 45 days old and shows no signs of abuse or neglect.

Delivers preventive and primary care services to patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Primary care for every family member, services include obesity and weight management.

Life Skills Classes: Offers classes in budgeting, couponing 101, energy savers, good neighbor, home-ownership, building strong families, nutrition and self-esteem. All classes are three hours in length, home-ownership runs six weeks, participants are given pre and post test.

One Percent loans made by USDA Rural Development up to $20,000 to very low income applicants to repair the home they now own, and grants made by USDA Rural Development up to $7,500 to very low income applicants to repair the home they now own to remove safety and health hazards. Grant recipients must be 62 years of age or older, and show they cannot afford a 1% repair loan.

Independent Living Skills Training: Provides individuals the opportunity to learn the skills and develop the necessary resources to maximize personal independence. Skill training include, but are not limited to, use of community resources, budgeting, transportation skills, cooking skills, self-advocacy, household management, nutrition, organizational skills, communication skills and stress management.

A supplemental nutrition program for pregnant, breast feeding and postpartum women and their infants and children to age five. Recipients must meet income guidelines and qualify as "nutritionally at risk" based on a medical & nutritional assessment.
