MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

The Children's Division actively seeks individuals and couples who are willing to become foster parents for the children in the State's custody. Prospective foster parents take a total of 27 hours of training on five competencies necessary to work with the children in CD custody and their families.

Provides free legal representation to low income clients in a number of civil legal problems; criminal defense representation is not provided; they handle cases involving public benefits, housing, unemployment compensation, family, consumer, education, employment, health and other matters.

These include the evaluation of the child's needs prior to placement, and arrangements for care of the child prior to the child's adoptive placement and to the approval of the adoptive family.
