The Children's Division actively seeks individuals and couples who are willing to become foster parents for the children in the State's custody. Prospective foster parents take a total of 27 hours of training on five competencies necessary to work with the children in CD custody and their families.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

Offering not just shelter, but a path forward. Located at Freedom Place, this transitional living program provides 47 apartments designed specifically for veterans navigating the complexities of trauma, homelessness, and rebuilding their lives.

Salvation Army provides gas assistance to eligible residents living in their service area.

Breastfeeding Peer Counselors available to provide support and information

Hears cases which involve metropolitan area traffic violations and fines traffic violators, presides over encounters between the prosecution.

The Warrensburg Community Center provides cooling site during extreme heat conditions; the Center shares a facility with the Warrensburg Senior Center where coffee, water, and doughnuts are provided.

Federal Victim-Witness Program helps victims and witnesses of federal crimes by answering questions about the federal prosecutorial process and providing information about crime victim compensation claims, court hearings, case status, victim impact statements. They may also provide referrals to social service agencies, accompany victims/witnesses to court, and assist with travel and lodging arrangements for out-of-district witnesses.

Provides opportunities for individuals interested in volunteering. Opportunities include Board/Committee Member, Camp Counselor, Chaperoning, Computer/Database programming, Data Entry/Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, Event Coordinator, Filing, Fundraising Event, Grant Development, Photography, Research/Evaluation, Teaching/Instruction, Troop/Youth Club Leader, Volunteer recruitment/coordination and Web Site Development.

Agency provides court advocacy, a service that includes assisting individuals fill out orders of protection.

Provides early care and education for children 6 weeks - 6 years of age, in a mixed-age group setting, based on primary caregiving and social and emotional development. Active Learning and Project Construct curricula with guidance from the Missouri Early Learning Standards. The Center is state licensed and nationally accredited through NAEYC. Staff remain current in all mandated trainings, including CPR/First Aid and the ABC's of Safe Sleep.
