The Blind Pension program was established in 1921 and is financed entirely by state funds. This program provides assistance for blind persons who do not qualify under the Supplemental Aid to the Blind law and who are not eligible for Supplemental Security Income benefits. Each eligible person receives a monthly cash grant of $541, as well as state funded medical assistance.

This program serves older adults, where they are offered a variety of services dealing with health, nutrition, recreation, field trips, and much more. Transportation is also provided to and from center.

Accepts donations of clothing, kitchenware, bedding, furniture, large and small appliances. All appliances and furniture must be in good working order to be accepted. Clothing can be in any condition, but would appreciate it being clean.

The Coed Program can benefit individuals who occasionally abuse substances, or those who have been addicted to drugs or alcohol for many years. The program is also designed to help treat related issues that may accompany addiction including depression, anxiety, thought problems, trauma and many other mental and emotional problems.

Hot meal for all. Participants are welcome to stay for fellowship after the meal.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this sight.

Baby diapers available on an emergency basis.

Accepts several types of donations, including cleaning products. Does not accept donations in need of repair. Donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program. A one-two day pick-up service is available to the organization's service area, contact Operations Director at (417) 865-3411.

The Family Living Center: The Family Living Center provides safe transitional housing, plus a comprehensive supportive service system to help metro east families overcome homelessness.

Provides referral for legal assistance (except criminal and traffic) to seniors.
