The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

COAD will manage spontaneous volunteers after a disaster event through a volunteer reception center which may be at a physical location or virtual.

Services provided include: Women's Health Services Well Women Exams Colposcopy & Biopsy Gynecological exams, including pap smears STI testing and treatment Cervical & breast cancer screening Birth control methods including Oral contraception (The Pill) Depo Provera (The Shot) Diaphragm Condoms Emergency contraception (following unprotected intercourse) Pregnancy testing, counseling & referral Infertility & genetic counseling & referral Hormone therapy Health and nutritional education Education on reproductive issues HPV immunizations

Provides prenatal education, risk assessments, counseling services, financial assistance for certain services, newborn assessments and referrals.

The library is open to the general public as a Cooling/Warming center during periods of extreme heat or cold.

Alternative education program targeting students ages 17-21 who have the capabilities to complete High School graduation requirements, but lack credits needed to graduate with their class.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

The Health Department tests for chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. All testing is done confidentially and provided with risk reduction information. The Health Department utilizes the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory in Jefferson City to test the samples submitted. Results are typically available in one and half to two weeks.

Provides a Day Learning Center to meet the needs of adults with disabilities in a learning atmosphere that caters to the students' levels of abilities. Program provides all students with a hot lunch and transportation to and from the Center.

CSL provides information and training on interview skills.

Provides assistance in getting housekeeping and respite services for seniors through various agencies in the area; these services are provided to help keep the Seniors living independently for as long as possible.

Provides housekeeping and laundry services.

Ryan White Part C Program: Offers case management services, including assistance with medications, transportation, referrals, food, nutrition, food vouchers, short-term rent and utilities and access to legal services.
