GSGBC's Program takes place at our Soulard campus, as well as afterschool at St. Frances Cabrini Academy and St. Cecilia School. Programs are offered in six competency areas: Academic Support & Assistance; Athletics, Aquatics, & Recreation; Character Building; Healthy Living; Visual & Performing Arts; and College & Career Readiness, all in a trauma-informed framework. This provides youth with tools to acquire skills and strengthen academic performance, while developing relationships and building confidence with a network of motivated peers.

Allows individuals with disabilities to receive assistance from personal attendants with his/her daily living activities and other tasks while remaining in the home. Personal attendants can be hired by consumer.

Offers physical therapy to help people perform their activities of daily living.

Provides household goods vouchers to the St. Vincent DePaul thrift store to those who are unable to purchase the goods on their own.

Provides breast examinations to women.

Friends of Man assists individuals that have exhausted other options and need a wheelchair for mobility.

Provides a wide range of informational and educational programs in consumerism, agriculture, human development, business, youth, etc.

Financial assistance for electric bills.

Provides various arts and crafts activities and exercise groups and equipment

Provides air conditioner units while supplies last.

Public Health Home Visits: Provides home visits (vital signs, pulse oximetry, venipunctures for lab, glucose monitoring, medication management, physical assessments and dressing changes), walk-ins (injections, venipunctures for lab, glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring and cholesterol testing).

Outpatient substance abuse treatment that provides counseling and group education for women with a substance abuse problem. Individuals also meet weekly with a substance abuse counselor; some transportation is available for clients.

Public Health - Birth/Death Certificates: Provides birth and death certificates.
