Consumer Directed Services or CDS is a Home and Community Based Service program covered under Medicaid that helps people with significant disabilities obtain assistance with personal care. WILS CDS will train program participates to hire their own caregiver.

Supplies and equipment include but are not limited to: Cpap and Bipap machines, oxygen, nebulizers, hospital beds, scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, fracture boots, cast shoes, bath seats and benches, etc. Supplies are available for rental or sale.

Pregnancy testing.

Parents who are seeking to regain custody of their children, or who are in need of supervised visitation with their children, may access the services of the Children's Division through a court order from the county/state of the custody's jurisdiction. Visitation will be arranged per the conditions of the court order. These services are also available to families who are involved in child abuse/neglect investigations and subsequent court rulings.

Provides immunizations, communicable disease follow-up, environmental inspections, health safety education and school health.

Immunizations are given for the following diseases: Diphtheria, Pertussis/Tetanus, Td, Polio, Measles, Mumps/Rubella, HIB, Hep B, Varicella, Prevnar, Hep A, Influenza, and Meningococcal.

Provides current, thorough and confidential information for seniors on a wide range of topics, such as housing options, care coordination, benefits, legal services and health care.

Offering public access computers, remote access to electronic resources for library cardholders and on-line library catalog.

Provides assistance with Medicare and Medicaid insurance enrollment programs for eligible participants.

Provides various health services including immunizations for adults, adolescents and children. Call for details.

Medical Services: Provides vaccinations and many other preventive care services for children with all abilities and with serious emotional disorders.

Provides home repairs focused on safety and accessibility issues to qualified individuals as funding is available.

Women's health care provided including well-women exams, Pap tests and family planning.

St. Louis County Youth Connection Helpline: Provides crisis intervention, including mobile outreaches to home and/or community agencies to provide emotional support, referral information and linkage of services for children, youth and their families in the St. Louis County area.

Offers assistance with selecting and purchasing specialized assistive equipment for people who have a disability that would otherwise prevent access to the telephone system.

Provides various health care services for St. Louis County residents.

Provides outpatient counseling services to adults, adolescents and children. Other services include crisis intervention services, psychiatric services, community rehabilitation center, Louis Masterman Center, Independent living apartments, psychosocial rehabilitation program, targeted case management, in-home services, children's services, EAP Program and educational services.

Providing a public library.

Services offered through the Senior Centers include noon-time congregate meals, home-delivered meals to surrounding communities, social, recreational, and educational activities.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this sight.

Caldwell County Health Department offers testing for cholesterol/triglycerides levels.

Services are offered for children and parents involved in the adoption process. These include the evaluation of the child's needs prior to placement, and arrangements for care of the child prior to the child's adoptive placement and to the approval of the adoptive family. Also, special activities are provided to help adoptive parents and children adjust to the new family situation.

Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP): Provides weatherization to eligible low-income consumers to assist them in lowering home energy costs.
