A parent or other person having lawful custody of an infant may leave the infant (without fear of prosecution) in the hands of staff. A parent will not be prosecuted for leaving their newborn at a safe haven if they follow the laws, assuming the child is under 60 days old and shows no signs of abuse or neglect.

Catholic Girl Scouts: Provides renewal experiences for Brownie Girl Scouts as well as Junior/Senior/Cadette Girl Scouts plus sponsorship of Religious Recognitions Program for Catholic Girl Scouts.

Water Utility Assistance Program: Providing up to $500 in assistance towards delinquent water service balance. Any remaining balance, including the Refuse charge, will be account holder's responsibility as part of a 6 month or 12 month repayment plan. The Blind Pension program was established in 1921 and is financed entirely by state funds. This program provides assistance for blind persons who do not qualify under the Supplemental Aid to the Blind law and who are not eligible for Supplemental Security Income benefits. Each eligible person receives a monthly cash grant of $541, as well as state funded medical assistance.
