Dogs and cats are required to be licensed by the city of Overland Park, KS, by the time they reach 6 months old, or within 30 days of being brought into the city, whether or not they go outside. The license year is Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.

Callaway County 4-H: The premiere youth development program of the USDA empowering youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. Offers a broad range of information, topics include nutrition, business, personal budgeting, gardening, babysitting, 4-H youth, etc. Speakers available. If specialist is not available in their area, will work with other extension offices to find the program.

The Richland Housing Authority has a computer lab and provides Basic Computer Skills Classes and occasional Adult Basic Education Classes.

Provides general pharmacies and general health education programs.

Accepts several types of donations that are not in need of repair; donations may be sold as a way to earn money for the program; a donation pick-up service is not available.

Accepts donation of used durable medical equipment. Hospital beds and respiratory equipment is not currently accepted. Tax donation forms provided upon request.

Provides 1-week and weekend summer camping opportunities.

There are videos, books, magazines, and newsletters all in which you can learn about disabilities for people with disabilities. BAILS is also connected to the Internet, which people with disabilities may utilize.

Outpatient substance abuse counseling is available including day treatment. Outpatient services for adolescents is provided. Length of stay is based on progress.

Group counseling services provided.

• Juvenile Justice: Provides substance use disorder assessment, referral and case management services for juveniles involved in the criminal justice system.

• Adult Criminal Justice Services:Provides substance use disorder assessment, referral and case management services for adults involved in the criminal justice system and for clients in the Illinois Department of Human Services TANF program.

• Domestic Violence: Assesses domestic violence offenders with potential substance use disorders and makes referrals to treatment when appropriate.

Community Action Agency providing assistance with gas and electric utilities, LIHEAP, weatherization and Missouri American Water Discount Program. Summer electric assistance begins June 1.

Program offers assitance getting freon put into a client's air condition unit. This money is to go towards the $300 cap for summer assitance through ECIP funds

Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.
