Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

The Missouri Board of Probation and Parole, as an essential part of the criminal justice system, is to provide for the professional assessment and release of offenders and their supervision in the community, using appropriate treatment, sanctions, and controls, with the primary consideration being promotion of public safety.

The Health Department offers Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing and latent TB infection treatment, follow-up, and active TB disease case management and directly observed treatment and follow-up for all known contacts of an active case of TB. Anyone needing TB medication can receive the medicine free through the health department clinic with a physician's orders and initial assessment. Monthly health assessments are done by staff to monitor the patients progress while they are on the medicine.

Certified Nurse Attendants assist persons with personal care such as bathing, grooming and dressing. They work towards helping persons become independent in these areas and are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse.
