Programs that offer a series of courses that are especially designed for adults who have not completed their high school education which focus on life skills necessary for personal and job success.

Immunizations are given for the following diseases: Diphtheria, Pertussis/Tetanus, Td, Polio, Measles, Mumps/Rubella, HIB, Hep B, Varicella, Prevnar, Hep A, Influenza, and Meningococcal.

Provides brain injury rehabilitation services to those who have experienced a brain injury.

Accepts donated goods such as: clothing (may be unusable, will bundle), furniture, electronics and appliances (that are in working order), adaptive equipment, household items, toys and games, books, personal care/grooming supplies, household cleaners, sports equipment, baby clothes and baby items. *Clean, gently used, WORKING, appliances and furniture. CAPACITY No Restrictions

Provide basic health care including physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments for low income people, people who are homeless or uninsured/under-insured or other medically under-served populations in rural areas. Services are generally provided on an ability-to-pay basis.

Offers gynecological exams, pregnancy tests, PAP smears, breast exams, emergency and low-cost contraceptives, STD screening and treatment, and the HPV vaccine. Specially-trained nurse practitioners and physicians provide health exams in a pleasant and confidential atmosphere.

A voucher to receive clothing is provided once every six months.

Pathways Counseling: A division of Baptist Children's Home and Family Services provides individual and families with confidential, Christian counseling in a comfortable, safe environment.

• Family-to-Family Class: A free 8-session class for families, partners, and friends of individuals with a mental health condition. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental health conditions, increase coping skills and empower participants to become advocates for their family members.

• Family & Friends Seminar: A free two-hour seminar that informs people who have loved ones with a mental health condition how to best support them. Topics include, understanding diagnoses, treatment, and recovery, effective communication strategies, and community resources.

• Get to Know NAMI St. Louis Presentation: A free 60-minute presentation that can be offered anywhere in the community, or virtually, to spread the word about what NAMI St. Louis does and how it serves the St. Louis region.

• In Our Own Voice Presentation: A free 90-minute presentation by speakers who share personal testimonies of living with and overcoming the challenges posed by having a mental health condition. By broadening people’s knowledge of mental health conditions, we replace misunderstanding, fear, and judgment with insight, awareness, and acceptance. The presentation can be adapted to meet the special needs of the audience upon request.

• Mental Health in the Workplace Presentation: A free 90-minute presentation in which employers and employees can learn about mental health and ways to support their colleagues. Employers can be a great resource to their employees by providing opportunities for education, creating a mentally healthy workplace and supporting their employees who are living with a mental health condition.

• Peer-to-Peer Class: A free 8-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to understand themselves and their recovery better. Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program includes activities, discussions, and informative videos.

• Provider Seminar: A free 4-hour workshop taught by a team consisting of an adult with a mental health condition, a family member and a mental health professional who is also a family member or has a mental health condition themselves. Provider introduces mental health professionals to the unique perspectives of people with mental health conditions and their families, helping them to develop enhanced empathy for their daily challenges and recognize the importance of including them in all aspects of the treatment process.

• Sharing Hope Initiative: A free three-part conversation series specifically for the Black/African American community, designed to introduce safe discussions on mental health and wellness within the Black/African American community, facilitated by those of the Black/African American descent.

Offers gynecology services and well woman exams for females.

This program is responsible for inspecting: food establishments, private water and sewage, septic systems, day care inspections, daily incoming complaints, and other environmental health issues.

Provides family dental care.

Provides early care and education for children 6 weeks - 6 years of age, in a mixed-age group setting, based on primary caregiving and social and emotional development. Active Learning and Project Construct curricula with guidance from the Missouri Early Learning Standards. The Center is state licensed and nationally accredited through NAEYC. Staff remain current in all mandated trainings, including CPR/First Aid and the ABC's of Safe Sleep.
