Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.

Each participating household receives an allotment of food benefits based on the USDA's Thrifty Food Plan. This allotment is adjusted annually according to the U. S. Department of Labor's analysis of the cost of food. Missouri Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) is the method by which households receive and use food stamp benefits. Households may use their Missouri EBT card in any grocery store or retail location anywhere in the United States that has been authorized by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and displays the Quest sign. The benefits may be used to purchase any food or food products prepared for human consumption except alcoholic beverages and tobacco, hot foods, or foods prepared for immediate consumption. Benefits may also be used to buy seeds and plants for use in gardens to produce food for the personal consumption of the household. Under certain conditions, members of the eligible households who are 60 years of age or older may use the benefits to pay for home delivered meals and other meals prepared for elderly persons.

Provides ambulance service to those with an emergency health care need.

Assists individuals with food stamps/SNAP appeals and/or complaints.

The Re-Store accepts donated appliances and building supplies. The appliances and supplies are donated to the program and then the sale of the products help fund Habitat for Humanity.

Provides baby clothes.

Operates as the Police Department for Columbia, Illinois responsible for protecting lives and property.

Providing pediatrics and behavioral health services.

Accepts some plant and gardening material donations that are not in need of repair, donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program, a donation pick-up service is not available.

Provide replacement food stamps for individuals who lost power for over 4 hours from the 5/16/25 tornado. Needs to be done 10 days from power outage.

Provides general non-medical support, personal care and daily living chores. Services include assisting with self-administered medication, performing/assisting with bathing, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, etc. No nursing or healthcare services are provided.

Provides in-home health care services to help clients continue to live independently.

Rapid Rehousing Program gives financial assistance to homeless individuals and will pay housing deposit and monthly rent for up to two months. They will also help with rental or electrical arrearages up to six months.

24-Hour Helpline: Immediate access to trauma-informed crisis intervention, solution-focused counseling, and targeted resource referrals for families, provided by a trained professional.

Provides home health care and home hospice services.

Helps those addicted to drugs find a 12-step meeting in the area.

Specialized treatment programs for person who suffer from co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse problems.

Provides a public library

Provides membership opportunities for facility usage, fitness programs, aquatics, youth sports, gymnastics, day camp and more.

Provides independent living programs for the elderly or disabled

Offers a multidisciplinary approach so that counseling, therapy groups, medication management and other mental health services can be offered.

Provides outpatient services for adolescents and adults having substance abuse or substance dependence problems, strong family component.

Provides municipal utilities to City of Jackson residents.
