The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

WIC is The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC serves to protect the health of low-income people who are pregnant or breastfeeding up to one year or recently delivered up to six months, infants and children up to age (5) by providing nutritious foods, support for breastfeeding, information on healthy eating and referrals to health care.

Provides holistic criminal and civil legal services with matters such as landlord/tenant disputes, consumer protection cases, divorce, custody and visitation rights, benefit application, elder law issues, such as guardianship and due process claims. Also, represents low-income individuals whose civil rights have been violated by courts, police, and jails and by filing class actions lawsuits challenging cash bail and debtors’ prisons.

Geriatric counseling services provided.

Kansas Child Support Services (CSS) helps children receive the financial support necessary for their growth and development by establishing parentage and orders for child and medical support, locating noncustodial parents and their property, enforcing child and medical support orders, and modifying support orders as appropriate.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

Abortion clinic alternative services offering pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds for pregnancy verification, STI education and pregnancy options counseling to those in the St. Joseph area. ***Suspending classes until March 30th (date may be changed). Women interested in the prenatal parenting program call PRC. Maternity Closet, free giveaway, for pregnant women only will be March 28th by appointment. May be able to assist with diaper or baby item requests (limited supply). The office should be open M-F.***
