The Children's Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Unit (CA/NHU) accepts confidential reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

Participants works one-on-one with the specialist who provides assistance such as skills training, resources or referrals designed to help the participant live more independently and achieve their goals. Nursing Home Transition Services: Independent living specialist will work with a person who is trying to transition from a nursing home back into the community to address skills related to housing, finances, personal care, financial resources and independence.

Provides information on pesticides such as pest control, regulation, prevention and more.

Leavenworth Public Housing Authority offers section 8 vouchers to individuals wanting to live in Leavenworth County.

Show Me Healthy Women is a program that provides access to free women's wellness check-ups, such as mammograms.

Thrift Store. Proceeds benefit clients of the Safe House for Women's Domestic Violence Shelter.

Provides practical, research-based information and programs to meet the educational needs of local citizens. Local staff develop and deliver programs based on needs identified by the local citizens and programs are provided by the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.
