The Residential Treatment Program serves youth with behavioral and/or mental health issues that negatively impact their ability to succeed in their families, schools and in the community. Mental health issues and behavioral challenges are addressed in a safe place where the child, family and therapist work together to safely return the child to the home.

Residential mental health treatment at Camber provides youth with intensive, around-the-clock support in a structured, home-like environment. Clinicians and staff help youth build emotion regulation and coping skills through evidence-based therapy, education and engaging community activities. This level of care is ideal for children and teens who need more support than outpatient services can provide but are not currently in crisis. Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) provides intensive residential treatment for children, ages 6-18, whose emotional and behavioral issues prevent them from living safely in the community. We treat a number of different child behavioral health prolbems, but specialize in treating the effects of complex trauma and attachment disorders by using proven modalities, such as Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Practice (DDP)

Niles Residential Treatment provides youth the opportunity to receive treatment in a 24/7/365 setting that allows them to engage in their treatment and learn new skills through individual, group and family therapy, substance use disorder treatment, healthy life-styles groups, art, music and recreational therapies. Niles Residential treatment program for children and adolescents (ages 6-17) addresses issues such as depression, trauma, PTSD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Bi-polar Disorder.

Residential program provides 24 hour supervision and medication management. Specialties include programs for complex trauma with particularly aggressive symptomatology, a co-occurring mental illness and substance use treatment program and a 6-level substance abuse prevention and treatment continuum.
