The Dental Hygiene Program offers a low-cost dental hygiene clinic to the public. Redemptorist offers a medical assistance program for the residents of Jackson and Wyandotte County which includes financial assistance for dental care. The amount of assistance available varies on a case by case basis as grant funding allows.

Children's Mercy provides comprehensive preventative and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children, patients with special health care needs, and those covered by Medicaid. A pediatric dentist is available 24 hours a day through the Children's Mercy emergency departments.

JCCC Dental hygiene students provide preventative treatments to community members. Services include: blood pressure screening, oral examination, x-rays (only as needed), teeth scaled and polished, fluoride treatment, nutritional counseling, oral hygiene instruction and other services including sealants. Emergency treatment is not available.
