The Health Department offers Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing and latent TB infection treatment, follow-up, and active TB disease case management and directly observed treatment and follow-up for all known contacts of an active case of TB. Anyone needing TB medication can receive the medicine free through the health department clinic with a physician's orders and initial assessment. Monthly health assessments are done by staff to monitor the patients progress while they are on the medicine.

The Jackson County Health Department's Tuberculosis Case Management Program identifies, treats and prevents the spread of Tuberculosis disease. Services include: case management, contact investigation and treatment.
