Steps of Faith helps uninsured and under-insured amputees get the prosthetics limbs they desperately need to restore their livelihood. We find prosthetists to donate their time to help patients, and we raise money to cover the cost of prosthetic limbs.
Kansas City Free Eye Clinic provides no cost, comprehensive eye care including vision correction via eyeglasses to the uninsured and under insured population.

Equipment provided such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, ostomy supplies, prosthetic devices, body braces and therapeutic shoes/inserts (for diabetes patients). Other equipment provided include benches, walkers, canes, and glucose monitors. Also assists with adult diapers and Pedialyte if prescribed by doctor
The Optometry Department will assist patients in filling eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions through a vendor.

A diversified telecommunications service provider, established in 1901 as a small regional telephone company, Hamilton Telecommunications has grown to provide a variety of phone and Internet services, one of which is Traditional Relay Service (TRS). TRS is a free 24-hour service that provides equal communication access via the phone to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or have difficulty speaking. Hamilton provides Relay in numerous contracted states as well as captioned telephone (Hamilton® CapTel®) nationwide and has established various programs to educate hearing healthcare professionals, aging adults and veterans around services available to individuals with hearing loss so they may stay connected to what’s most important in their lives.

Individuals can shop online for low-cost equipment and supplies. Repairs are facilitated by appointment and donations can either be dropped off at the store location or can be scheduled for pickup via telephone.

Catholic Charities can provide wheelchairs for those in need, when funding available.
Provide discounted hearing aids via a process of finding local Hear Now participants in Yellow Pages under "Hearing Aids," and asking participants to complete the application process (including providing all necessary documentation) to be approved for assistance. Allow five weeks for processing.
