Sidney's Birthday Box: Partners with two local children's hospitals to work closely with the dialysis staff and physicians to plan birthday surprises for children who are receiving dialysis. A bag of goodies for the children includes resources for their families and care takers, such as kidney health brochures and peer support or help line information.
Kidney Social Summit: Offers an annual educational symposium for kidney patients, their care takers, and the general community who are looking to increase their knowledge of kidney health. Provides both support and valuable tools for participants take to manage their disease, advocate for themselves, and incorporate healthy habits into their daily life.
Language Flyers Initiative: Breaks down linguistic barriers to educate diverse community members on kidney health. National organizational content is translated into Arabic, Bosnian, English, Spanish, Swahili, and Vietnamese for enhanced awareness regarding kidney disease.
