Niles Prep School and Day Treatment offers academic instruction combined with state-approved, trauma-informed therapeutic treatment for grades K-12. Our program is designed for those having difficulty functioning in mainstream classroom settings due to educational/psychological/behavioral concerns. Small classroom sizes offer a place to heal, change, grow; learning becomes interesting and fun. Students receive blended learning experiences through teacher-led coursework and online customized curriculum, allowing guided self-paced learning.

The Therapeutic Day Treatment Program provides intensive therapeutic and special education services for students, ages 6-19, who are not succeeding in traditional classrooms due to problem behaviors. Day Treatment is provided at Gillis and Ozanam Campuses in Kansas City, MO.

Our day school is for children with developmental disabilities. The program features a small staff to student ratio (1:1 to 1:3) and an emphasis on self-esteem development within a culture of gentleness. Programming is individualized and directed by an Individual Education Plan for each student attending.
