Eligibility
- Household income must have been less than $69,000 last year
- Must reside in St. Louis County, Missouri
- Taxpayers must be age 60 years and older
Required documents
- Photo ID
- Social Security cards or ITIN (Individual Tax ID#) for ALL family members listed on the tax return
- Education Tax Forms: Tuition Statement (1098-T), Student Interest, Book Expenses
- Mortgage Interest and Property Taxes Statements
- Other forms related to taxes (Did you buy a car? a house? sell stock?)
- Copies of prior year tax returns (if have any)
- For each dependent must bring Social Security card and date of birth, proof of childcare or dependent care expenses
- Senior citizens or disabled must bring copy of paid Real Estate bill or Rental receipts, Form SSA-1099 (shows Social Security received in tax year), Proof of Disability such as Medicare card (Disabled only), Landlord's address and telephone number (Renters only)
- Retirees/Pensioners year-end pay stub from pension/annuity payments or other documents showing how much you paid for medical/dental insurance
- For Direct Deposit copy of check that shows Routing and Account Number (Deposit slips don't always have that information on them)
- If filing jointly, spouse must be present to sign completed tax forms
