Homelessness Prevention Programs | reStart - Supportive Services for Veteran Families

The reStart SSVF program provides supportive services to military families such as housing search and financial assistance for rehousing, counseling, case management and employment assistance. The goal of the program is to help families maintain stable permanent housing. This program does NOT assist with moving.

Eligibility

Individual/head of household or his or her spouse must be a US veteran who served in active military, naval or air service and discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable. Individual/family must fall below 50% of AMI for their location; must be currently literally homeless or at imminent risk of being homeless.

reStart Inc. provides housing services to those at risk of homelessness and currently experiencing homelessness. reStart does this work through Prevention, Street Outreach, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing with wrap around support services of case management, behavioral health services, employment and prevention.
