Application process
Complete an eligibility form online at www.mlmkc.org. Eligibility forms are accepted on the 15th of the month from 9am-10am if funding is available. The first 30 submissions determined eligible will be invited to complete a full application for assistance. All other submissions will be notified they are ineligible or that funds are no longer available for the month.

Funding is currently NOT available for the cities of: Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Grandview, Raytown, Grain Valley, and Pleasant Hill in Jackson County, MO. (9/16/2026)
MLM provides emergency assistance including electric, gas, water, rent, and rental deposits when funds are available.
