Must reside in counties serviced by Kansas Gas Services. Must be primary account holder for utility bill, Must meet income requirements of 200% poverty guidelines, Utility vendor must be primary heating source.

Application process
Call to leave a message with your name, phone number and address. An application will be sent to the primary account holder to be returned as soon as possible. Payments will be made directly to the utility or fuel supplier on behalf of the person receiving assistance.

This program provides utility assistance for people residing in Kansas who are in need of winter heating assistance. This program is designed to assist families who are at the 200% poverty guideline with a one time grant of $300 toward their primary heating utility bill for the winter season. This one time grant payment is made directly to the utility company for those clients who qualify for the program.
