The American Red Cross assists with emergency communications between military personnel and their families. Typical emergency communications may involve the birth of a child, serious health conditions of family members, death of family members or lost contact with the military person.

ARC will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Emergency, health, and safety education and blood services are provided for all ages. Disaster services provides 24/7 response to disaster victims as well as disaster preparedness information. Emergency communications are provided for military families. International tracing and family reunification due to separation caused by war is provided. Health and safety education provides First Aid, CPR and water safety training. Blood services collects and distributes blood products.
