The Kansas City Free Eye Clinic provides sight-saving eye care to the homeless and low-income in our community. We focus on long-term eye health and detecting underlying eye disease while providing assistance with eyeglasses to enhance daily life.

Eligibility

Demonstrated financial need. Resident of Missouri or Kansas. Have not had an eye exam or glasses from any other clinic in the past year. Have not met your lifetime cap of 4 eye exams or 4 eyeglasses at KCFEC. 100% free care is offered to homeless individuals or those living in short-term housing (support letter needed). For others, a contribution of $30-$45 is requested to help cover the cost of your services. Replacements for broken glasses will incur a cost of $15-$20.
